A New Government By Burnside Faulafo

In times of trouble, confusion and uncertainty, life seems to have no ray of hope. We always look to others for help and comfort. We even turn to our earthly government. Going to these sources often make our problems worse than before. However, there is a better government to turn to; there is a better person we can turn to with confidence and assurance that guarantees He can and will handle our circumstances. Isaiah 9:6-7 introduces this new government and its King: “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end.” You see this government and its ruler offer something that no country on earth can offer:

  1. The government will be on His shoulders.
    1. That means every problem and circumstance in the government will be on Him; bad or good will be His business.
    2. If you live in this Kingdom, He will take care of you free of cost.
  2. He will be called Wonderful Counselor.
    1. That means He will give counseling; wonderful counseling.
    2. Counsel by His words bring peace, joy and satisfaction to your soul.
    3. It is freely given
  3. Mighty God
    1. That means He is too big and powerful; nothing is impossible for Him. Whatever you bring to Him is no problem because He is a Mighty God who is greater than your problems and your circumstances.
  4. Everlasting Father
    1. That means He will be your father.
    2. As long you live, your father will provide for you; His family.
    3. He will be your source of all things and sustainer of everything.
    4. He provides, protects and loves you.

God offers something that no government, nation or peoples can provide. Everything about life is on Him, and He is more than able. Will you change government? If you want a better life, this government/Kingdom is the best option. Matthew 11:28-30 He gives an invitation; “Come to me, All you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you Rest.” God bless you all!
